Welcome to YOUR Portland Neighborhood Community

Portland Sunday Parkways 2010 | Five Neighborhoods
The City of Portland held its first Sunday Parkways event in North Portland, June 2008 and it was such a wild success, there are now 5 planned throughout the city this summer.

Sunday Parkways is the perfect opportunity for you and your family to get out and be active right in your own neighborhood. With the streets closed from car traffic, the 6-8 mile routes connect Portland’s beautiful parks and offer a chance for participants to listen to music, grab a snack from a local food vendor or peruse the local gift vendors for a souvenir. Walk, run, or bike the city streets filled with surprises around every corner...performers, activities and food – all traffic-free. Check out the video at the bottom of the page!

Little Bay Root has plenty of goodies to strap on for the ride!

Many thanks! Very reassuring about the cost of housing--I'm a NYer and live in Boston so 450K won't go far in the places I know.
