On June 30, Clip Radio held their first Just Jammin’ music event at the Alberta Rose Theatre. The show featured Jordan Harris, Elise LeBlanc, Sawtell and Balto who claimed the title of Clip Radio’s first Jam Master and walked away with $3,000.
The first-ever Just Jammin’ Jam Master was chosen by Portland music fans who voted through the Clip Radio app. Regardless of who won, all four acts put on an amazing show.
“Our first Just Jammin’ event was a huge success, with a special thanks to the Alberta Rose Theatre for partnering with us,” says Whitney Christensen, Associate Director, Music and Label Development for Clip Interactive, the company behind Clip Radio. “It’s been a long time since I have seen so much new talent in one room. The theater was buzzing with excitement. Through the Clip Radio app, music fans are able to voice their opinions about any number of things, like sharing their preference for songs and artists, and weighing in on local events and competitions like Just Jammin’.”
The Clip Radio app can be an effective tool for bands as well as music fans. New musical groups can use the app to establish themselves on the local music scene through show promotion, ticket sales and building a fan base.
