Growing Gardens Chef in My Garden in Portland this Summer!

Hey, Portlanders!

Are you enjoying the amazing warm weather this week?  I have been busy gardening, BBQing, and generally just being outside in the sunshine.  I wanted to tell you about a great local charity event that is happening in and around Portland this summer.  Growing Gardens is a great local charity that helps Portlanders grow their own food.  One of their most popular fundraising events is the "Chef in My Garden" dinners hosted in local Portland gardens by several of Portland's most renowned chefs.

While some of the dinners are sold out, there are still tickets left!  These tend to sell out fast since this event is so popular, so grab yours now.  You'll be benefiting Portland families while enjoying a fine meal at the same time.   PURCHASE TICKETS HERE

Here are the 2014 Portland Chef in My Garden dinner tickets still remaining right now:

Here’s our midsummer night’s dream . . . Imagine it’s a warm summer evening, and one of the region’s top chefs is creating a delightful meal for you to enjoy in an enchanted garden.  This flight of fancy can come true.

Presenting the 2014 edition of Chef in My Garden, a series of incredible meals in local gardens to support the important work we do here at Growing Gardens – helping people learn how to grow their own food, just outside their doorsteps. Because if everyone has a garden, everyone can have a chef in it, preparing healthy, delicious meals for themselves and their families.

Join us this summer and help us make our dream a reality every day!
