Morning Walk
I've lately been suffering from a combination of schedule-fu and malaise, and perhaps just a touch of early spring laziness. For sure my energy has been oscillating like mad, accompanied by a very slight scratchiness in the throat and a head that feels loosely weighted by unsecured ballast. I can only assume, being exposed to school-age kids often these days, that I have run afoul of some invisible wiggly menace.

Beat Feet
I’m a big fan of Portland. I love so much about this town that friends and family who don’t live here are probably sick of hearing and reading about it. Can’t say I blame them; proselytizing is annoying regardless of the subject or source. Sometimes my appreciation waxes rhapsodic to the point where it sounds disingenuous and even I think I sound like I’m on the payroll (and hey, Metro? I’m available!).
