I had this brilliant idea yesterday.

It's raining a little.  We have an apartment full of kids.  Kaya, Daisy, and Bella are crowded around a laptop, employed in the construction of a boss mansion in a Sims game.  Hailey is busy with paper and colored pencils, her face so close to the surface of the table in her intense scrutiny of her medium that she looks asleep except for the dervish of the pencil in her blurring fist.  Zoey, three years old, is painting her own upper torso with the…

Refuge

I tend to be one of those people who discover things after everyone else.
