Growing Gardens Chef in My Garden in Portland this Summer!

Hey, Portlanders!

Moving to Portland area in July-August

Hello Portland,

My daughter and I are moving to the Portland area at the end of July beginning of August.  I was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona and I have grown tired of Phoenix.  The heat and dust grate my spirit.  I know it's rainy and cloudy in Oregon but I have had enough of sunshine to last a lifetime.  I'm hoping to find an affordable 2 bedroom apartment somewhere between 600 to 750 a month.  Downtown I'm sure is not going to fit in that range.  I have looked in Beaverton…

Portland Blog: This Week in Portland March 8, 2014

Hey Portland!  I am en route back to Portland from Los Angeles today, where I spent the last couple of days visiting a friend.  Of course LA was great for the sunshine and warmer temps, but the contrast of LA to Portland also makes me happy to be returning home.  March is Portland Dining Month, for one thing, and I can't wait to eat at some of my favorite Portland restaurants.

Come read our…

From time to time I am asked why I always state my 'compass location' so to speak. Happy FRIDAY, happy WEEKEND. Coincidentally, Happy Day of {{LOVE}}...'for the state of Oregon' at least....as I don't necessarily celebrate the 'other' reason, darn it all that Hallmark holiday. Instead, why not spread love year-round. I'm so excited that I'm in a state that can…
