Affordable Skin Care Treatments

He Everyone! I hope you are all enjoying your Sunday.

I am a licensed Aesthetician with 12+ years experience. I am starting to offer treatments on both the SW side and the SE side. WIth our economy these days, I really wanted to find a way to still offer clients great stress relief, or the opportunity to step away from the daily demands of life. We all deserve a moment to nurture ourselves, and who doesn't want to take a minute or so of down time.

Even with the economy hurting, it is… Continue

Portland Blog - This Week in Portland - March 28-April 4, 2009

What am I doing up at 5:30am? Well, I’m writing the weekly Portland blog extra early because, like half of Portland, I have caught the latest cold virus and can’t sleep. In fact, this is the third night in a row I haven’t slept much, so I am kind of grouchy. Still…it is hard to stay crabby for long when I look outside these days and see signs of spring, and I have crocus and daffodils blooming in my yard…and best of all, the Portland cherry… Continue

Clothing Exchange in PDX?!

I'm wondering if any of you fine folks out there know of any clothing exchanges that are going on here in PDX. I used to exchange clothes with my friends in Mpls once a season. Now that I'm here in PDX, I'm looking to exchange with some different folks that will help me expand my wardrobe in terms of inexpensive clothes and to challenge my "ho-hum" clothing style. Any ideas?!

Also, I'm looking for some new great, affordable options for clothes shopping here in the city. My new… Continue

Portland Blog: This Week in Portland - March 21-28, 2009

I just have to say, I am so excited at the arrival of spring in Portland. I feel like a bear coming out of a long winter hibernation, and I'm hungry: hungry to get back outside and enjoy all the great outdoor events that Portland has to offer! And, today heralds the opening of the Portland farmer's Market downtown at PSU South Park Blocks! I spent many Saturday mornings at the market last year, enjoying all of the people, music, food, and all the… Continue

Mortified Portland for > 21 years old

I auditioned for Mortified Portland last week and was pretty much disqualified because the bulk of my journaling has been in my 30's - on (they want under 21). I have appealed to them to produce a show of 30's angst - am I the only one who went through this (30's angst)? The constant questioning of "Why aren't you married?" (uh, because no one's asked me!); "Why don't you have kids?" (because there's enough cloning experiments already underway). The pathetic trying to not act annoyed when… Continue
