Portland Pixels

Let me tell you something, this blogging stuff ain't easy. Stumptown Styles

The missus and I were running errands yesterday when she spied a pedestrian on the sidewalk and said “That is so typically Portland.”

“What?”, I asked as I pointed out a stop sign for her. She always drives because I don't like to drive when she's in the car with me, but I like to help out when I can.

I looked out at the young fellow trudging along, probably on the way to or from work or school, and I didn't notice what she was talking about until she pointed it…

Video PDX

Whenever I'm visiting YouTube I can't help but take a look around for any new vids that Portland fans (and non-fans – there's just no defense against the surf-by looka-me clown rants) have posted. I'm like any citizen who loves his or her town, I like seeing what others love about it too, and how the media limns it.

There are the videos meant as advertisements, of course, showing all the bright-and-shiny like an animated brochure. I'm not being nasty when I say that; Portland…
