This led to a yearlong photographic exploration of the gardens of Kyoto, Japan.  Returning to the US he brought the understanding of garden as art and spiritual evocation into his professional work. The power and clarity of…See More

May 6, 2011 from 6pm to 9pm
Whether covering a news assignment in Iraq or climbing a mountain for an advertising shoot, Jed and his pictures succeed. In his first decade as a photographer he has been down the street, and to the other side of the globe, perched precariously on a peak, raced through deserts in Morocco and Utah, and found nuances in his own backyard. He's photographed nature and travel, soldiers and sikhs, world citizens and the everyman. His unique vision will be displayed May through June at the i witness…See More

Aloha Sharon,

Thank you for the invitation.  Lisa & I don't take many photos ourselves but we do enjoy galleries.  We promise to make a trip down when we get settled in.

Thank you, Sharon.  I am not much of a photographer, but I do enjoy other people's photography.  We get to town in late June and look forward to visiting the NCP.

Hey Sharon, thank you. I am living in the beautiful city of Lexington, KY at the other end of the Lewis and Clark Trail, for now .... I am thinking of making the next trip to Portland, Oregon, around July - the Safeway Waterfront Blues Festival would be a wonderful place to start. And the coolest thing, there would be no real need for a car, with TriMet and all the nice places to stay between PDX and the downtown waterfront .... Certainly, any time I get to spend in Portland, living in the city or just stopping in to visit friends and family and to see more of the area, it is always special time. Love you guys and be well always. Steve

Hi Sharon.

Unfortunately, I haven't done much photography in the last six months. With the coming of spring, I am feeling the urge again.

You're not going to believe this, but I'm giving serious consideration to taking a portraiture class. I'm not sure I'll ever like taking pics of people I might meet on the street like you and Ben do, but I'm feeling drawn to it more. Know anyone willing to model for copies of the pictures? :)
