Help finding a rental in Goose Hollow (or a neighborhood nearby)?

Relocating my young family to Portland, my husband is starting graduate studies at PSU this fall, and I am having such a hard time finding a rental. Believe me, I've used every resource, Craigslist, Housing Maps, every rental search site out there, newspapers...I've been looking for 2 months now! We're moving from Northern Idaho and don't have the ability to come to Portland and search in person (my husband works full time here and I have two very young children). I would be eternally grateful…See More

"Goose Hollow is a great little neighborhood that adjoins downtown PDX.  I love it over there. I'd be looking there first! "

"The Multnomah Village and Hillsdale neighborhoods are a short bus ride coming directly into the south end of PSU. We live close to both and really like the neighborhoods. I don't know about apartment rents, though."
