- Portland is calling to me to get a fresh start on life.Am recently single after 25 years, kids are off to college, and I'm done with California. I'm a massage therapist and love what I do. Am selling a home and want to buy a charming cottage/bungalow in an equally charming neighborhood that's safe and friendly. Am finding great affordable houses, but a sense of community is important to me. Also,am a dog lover and once in a while I'll meet a cat I like.

Moving to Portland ASAP
I'm newly single after 25 years and since my kids are in college,I'm ready to leave California (am a native New Yorker), with my dog and start fresh in Portland. I plan to buy a small home to call my own, but want to get the neighborhood right.I'm a massage therapist, so want to work out of my home, as well as with an established spa. Sellwood sounds fun, but I'm very open. Any suggestions?
