Welcome to the group.  If you have an interest in photography you should check out Northwest Center for Photography and the i witness gallery.  The i witness gallery features work created by photographers from the Northwest exclusively. This includes work by seasoned and emerging professionals, as well as student work created during NCP workshops.

Jed Conklin’s TURNING CORNERS exhibit will be on display through June 25, 2011.   Opening July 1st is FLOW, Allan Mandell’s artistic botanical portraits.

NCP workshops cover everything related to image making —from the moment of exposure to the art of presentation and everything in between. Workshops are designed for digital, film or video or B&W wet processing in our darkroom.

NCP’s team of professional instructors—all passionate about photography—is committed to advancing the challenged and challenging the advanced. NCP believes having fun while learning is essential to the creative process and our goal is to provide a range of workshops suitable for the broadest audience—whether being taken for personal enrichment or if one is pursuing a career.

GALLERY HOURS are Tue-Fri, noon-6pm and Sat from 1-6pm. The gallery is open late (from 6-9pm) for First Friday Gallery walks.

I WITNESS GALLERY is housed in the Northwest Center for Photography, 1028 SE Water Ave., Ste 50, Portland, OR 97214. For more information about workshops or the gallery visit www.nwcenterforphotography.com
