Which Portland neighborhood do you call home? Or, are you Moving to Portland?
I've been in SE Portland since early November 2012, and I'm loving it. Currently working at your friendly neighborhood Plaid Pantry, but I'm working on moving up in the world. I'm 27, am pretty good at translating Latin (I have a degree in it! Also one in English), and need to write more poetry. What's up?
What do you love about Portland?
Seeing different people every day. Looking outside my window and seeing a tree. Those times when I find a good Bloody Mary. Hawthorne. Free Craigslist.
Elliott Smith, Murder By Death, Pinback, Wrens, Tool, the Stones, the Clash, Lucinda Williams, my husband, Spoon, OK Go
What's your favorite Portland neighborhood and why?
Well, I've gotta say Richmond, since it's home. Also digging Hawthorne and Hollywood.
One is not born, but rather becomes, a woman.
Following our will and wind, we may just go where no one's been.
