Relocating to Portland

Hi:  My husband and I are relocating to Portland in February.  We are looking for a neighborhood near public transportation.  I will be working in downtown Portland (2nd and Market) and will not have a car.  We are in our mid-50s so want a neighborhood with friendly people in our age group.  We love live music and walking to restaurants and shops, as well as a funky, fun vibe.  Safety, of course, is a concern.  We will be renting until we decide where we want to settle.  Any recommendations are…See More
