- What do you love about Portland?
- Greenery!!! Lots of big trees, well-maintained parks, and glorious greenery everywhere - just like an urban forest!!! The public transit system is excellent, making it easy to live without a car year-round. Living without a car saves me a lot of money!!! Mild weather year-round, with lots of overcast, cool, misty days. The general grayness is something a lot of people dislike about Portland, but for people like me who don't like the heat and find such weather energizing and enlivening, it’s a big plus.
