I am mixed media artist and when I am not creating I love buying other artists handmade wares and meeting them.

What do you love about Portland?

The wonderfully rich cultural community of artists, musicians, dancers and live theatre. I love the big city/small town feel and everyone is so friendly and supportive. A true sense of community and social consciousness. The great beer and wine and proximity to the coast don't hurt either!

My music:

any and all. I love discovering new artists. Live music can't be beat. I go to Jimmy Mak's for live jazz a lot and love the fabulous local musicians as well. Always looking to hear new finds.

What's your favorite Portland neighborhood and why?

Love them all. Each has a different character. I love to expore by walking the neighborhoods. NW is a bit beat up now and hopefully not going too commercial. I would miss the quaint character. I love shopping in NW, SE, NE and all around town!
