Which Portland neighborhood do you call home? Or, are you Moving to Portland?
right now we're staying in NE Portland, near sandy blvd & 105th.
im taking care of my family-a rad two year old boy, and his daddy.
he's looking for work, and im waiting for classes at PCC to start. as soon as we're more financially capable we're planning to move to a place of our own (we're staying with friends).
i am in a phase of mind where i think that life is really just a metaphor for the shit going on in my head. i find a happy place in myself observing the world around me, seeing how we all click & contrast..im working on integrating myself back into the dynamics of the world around me. im shy.
i want to glamourbomb the world with trinkets & nifty food for thought. i want to make all kindsa of fucky jewelry, wind chimes, sculptures, collages, and art across everything resembling a canvas that i can get my hands on.
i need to make some friends!! get out more, explore the town...
What do you love about Portland?
the atmosphere. people are nicer, more motivated, and more aware of the cause & effect of their actions. the mindset is more open-minded & conducive to growth.
the vibe in the air just makes me want to stay.
oh good god, this could take all night.
cake, tsunami bomb, linkin park, michael franti, rise against, breaking benjamin, amanda palmer, dresden dolls, liz phair, oasis, vertical horizon, eve 6, fiona apple, a perfect circle, staind, otep, flyleaf, hed p.e., social distortion, placebo, mudvayne, dido, leah andreone, garbage, alanis morrisette, blue october, ani difranco, dido, three days grace, sage francis, etc., etc., etc.
im open & always listening for more.
What's your favorite Portland neighborhood and why?
i havent had a chance to explore enough to have a favorite neighborhood yet. i can tell you that the area im living in isnt it...we arent near enough parks and such for my kiddo.
umm...mt. tabor is awesome. downtown makes me giddy. and i'd love to see more....
