Which Portland neighborhood do you call home? Or, are you Moving to Portland?
Alberta Arts District
I've got three kiddos who are all having a blast at Trillium Charter school. I work full time, and attend school full time at PSU as well! My chef husband and I are CouchSurfing ambassadors, and artists in the spare time when we're not sleeping.
What do you love about Portland?
What's not to love?! Diversity, culture, alternative ways of getting around and living life. And, it's absolutely beautiful.
Early 80's punk, Delta Blues, TV Theme songs from the 70's, Alt Country, Americana, Roots - geesh, basically most anything that's not dripping with pop-culture. You know, the kind where people can still play their instruments.
What's your favorite Portland neighborhood and why?
I really like the age group of the people in Alberta District, and appreciate the community vibe, small businesses, and the amazing homes! Living in a bike-friendly neighborhood is a great incentive to stay physically active, and gives some peace of mind that people will watch out for you!
