Which Portland neighborhood do you call home? Or, are you Moving to Portland?
I'm moving to Portland in the fall.
I'm from a small town in Alaska. It's an absolutely beautiful place but also very isolated and the winters are long. I've worked at a variety of jobs, but my passion is music and I'm looking forward to getting to meet other artists and forming a band.
What do you love about Portland?
The culture, the music scene, the great public transportation and its friendliness to the LGBT community.
Tegan and Sara, P.J. Harvey, Pearl Jam, Arcade Fire, Ani DiFranco, Sleater-Kinney, Nirvana, The Beatles, The Breeders, Brandi Carlile, Gossip, Dead Sara, are some of my very favorites but I love all kinds of music from folk to rap-rock depending on my mood.
What's your favorite Portland neighborhood and why?
I don't know yet. :)
In so far as one denies what is, one is possessed by what is not, the compulsions, the fantasies, the terrors that flock to fill the void.
