Which Portland neighborhood do you call home? Or, are you Moving to Portland?
I love plants, art, nature, travel. I live with my partner and our baby boy I. River. We moved here 2 years ago from the Appalachian Mountains. We are into indoor house plants, and some gardening outside but we rent, so don't want to put too much $$ into our outside. We are into trading! I'm great at rooting plants and would love to trade artwork for plants/money..haha..
What do you love about Portland?
Perfect gardening...such a gardening community, creativity is everywhere. So much variety to do, and unlike some places I've lived, people are aware of their earth around them....taking care of it and recycling and so forth. Sounds basic, but some places don't consider it!
All kinds..... My most influential and definitve music style is early punk/60'spsychadelic........Velvet Underground, The Zombies, The Animals, The Kinks....Patti Smith, Joy Division....Alien Sex Fiend, Roky Erikson, and some newer stuff like Black Angels, also Ravi Shankar, Patsy Cline, Sonic Youth..... lots of stuff
What's your favorite Portland neighborhood and why?
Any neighborhood that has a good community-like Halloween appeal. Woodsy and walk-able and where people put effort into making the most of it.
We're all in the same boat but thank goodness we're not all on the same side.
