Hi Alison,
You say that you're "happy enough". Are there certain expectations that you had for Portland that have not been met? How long have you lived there and why (it you don't mind me asking) did you choose Portland? What do you miss about Michigan? I'm just curious because the perspective one has about a particular place is merely relative. I have many reasons for wanting to make Portland my home. Maybe we can compare and contrast.
