Heck yeah Zach! Check out Plew's Brews in St. Johns. $3 pints all the time, any beer of your choice. Enjoyed some Super Dog (Lucky Lab) and Nice Rack (Southern Oregon Brewing) last night. CHEERS!

Last Friday I entered my Porter. Had a great turn out at a local art gallery. several brewers were along the street. Patrons liked mine better. I have a esspresso/chocolate (Imperial Stout) ready to bottle nect week. I am also brewing up a 4 gal. hard rootbeer about 16 % alc. in two weeks plus and a lighter German brew. I am entering my Stout the 23rd of oct. at a western village here in Payson. A brewmaster from Coors will be awarding the brewers in several cattagories. I wish I had started this hobby when young. The VA doctor told me to drink two a day and add three years to my life. Can't do it...

Let's do Sunday March 15 at 5:30 (the Freak Mountain Ramblers start at 6pm, I believe). I blasted an invite out to the group. We should make this a regular event (of course) and rotate around Portland to all our fave spots. I look forward to meeting some of the great people on this site in person!

June 2, 2013 from 1pm to 4pm
Alpenrose Dairy, Oregon's oldest family-owned dairy, is ready once again to welcome families to Dairyville, a Western-themed “town” located right on the 52-acre dairy farm. A Portland tradition for over 50 years, kids and adults flock to the streets of Dairyville during the summer months to explore this fun pioneer exhibit.  Visitors can peak into Grandma’s Bakery, the Great Western Bank, the Dairyville School, and the post office.  Kids can watch model trains chug through tiny Oregon…See More
