Mash Tun in Portland
Hey Beer heads,
I went into Mash Tun last night for the first time. Mash Tun is located in the Alberta Arts District over in NE Portland. I was really impressed with this neat little place and wanted to share a few highlights:
They brew their own and have several on rotation- mostly IPA's of which I am not a fan (everyone knows I like the browns, porters and stouts) but I did have a very nice red which was pretty enjoyable. They also have many guest taps, including a favorite of mine, Walking Man.
They have a HUGE menu but we didn't eat there this time since we had dinner elsewhere earlier. Next time...
Free pool and free jukebox. That's crazy, huh? I can't remember the last time someone had a free jukebox! Overall a very nice, comfy place with very good service.
