I'm ready for a lead to a good membership gallery near SE Portland or Gresham.

Are any of you interested in a Sketchcrawl? www.sketchcrawl.com
If so, the 23rd Worldwide Sketchcrawl is happening saturday July 11 and I'm trying to get together a group to sketchcrawl with. We'll crawl around Hawthorne 11am-4pm http://www.sketchcrawl.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=3880 for exact details. Haven't had much of a turn out on the sketchcrawls in the past, and am trying the tactic of having a specific schedule to help with meeting up with folks. I'm welcoming any and all to join the group and help it grow! Always open to suggestions and ideas and anyone that wants to help lead the group to grand proportions!

Can anyone here recommend some lofts and/or live/work space lofts or spaces in Portland that usually have openings? I'm on some waiting lists for two places but would assume there are others that I haven't found yet. I am also looking for an artist around my age (31) to get together with and help motivate each other to create as well as possibly help each other get our artwork out there by sharing event costs and what not.

"Hello Faliscia, The first question is "what is your budget?" That is going to narrow your choices drastically. Richmond, Boise, Sunnyside, Mt. Tabor are all great areas. But not helpful if you can only afford to live in Centennial. "

Best Portland Oregon Hotels - or where to stay when you need to lay your head down at night

If you're traveling to Portland Oregon, either to visit or in preparation for moving there, you need to have a place to stay. Many people stay out at the Portland Airport, making a common mistake in thinking that it is "centrally located to everything."No... not even close. It can easily take 45-60 minutes in normal traffic to drive the few miles from the airport to downtown. Longer if it is rush hour. The best bet…See More
