Hi all!
I'm looking for a rental in PDX - preferably on the grid - that will take well-behaved and lovely pets - 1 dog 1 cat . I work primarily from home, and usually take Her Highness Miss Rosa the Dog with me when i go out. I'd take the cat too but she doesn't like cars.

I'm really looking for a small house or duplex - with a little yard space. At this point i'm not real picky. Plenty of references available.

THanks all!

Hi, Laura. What a cute dog baby you have. So, you're looking for Portland pet friendly rentals. Renting a house may be your best bet given that you have what might be considered a "large" dog. I had this issue myself, as I have two dogs, and most apartments allowed "one small pet". I ended up renting a lovely duplex, at the time.

Here are some places to check for pet friendly Portland rentals. Check the Humane Society link, they have a big list of rentals!

Here's another one that claims all of their rentals are pet friendly.

Also, I think craigslist might be a good place to check.

Good luck! I hope you find the perfect home for you and your lovely pets.
Thanks, Lorri!
I forgot about the OHS links - that's really helpful!

"Hello Faliscia, The first question is "what is your budget?" That is going to narrow your choices drastically. Richmond, Boise, Sunnyside, Mt. Tabor are all great areas. But not helpful if you can only afford to live in Centennial. "

Best Portland Oregon Hotels - or where to stay when you need to lay your head down at night

If you're traveling to Portland Oregon, either to visit or in preparation for moving there, you need to have a place to stay. Many people stay out at the Portland Airport, making a common mistake in thinking that it is "centrally located to everything."No... not even close. It can easily take 45-60 minutes in normal traffic to drive the few miles from the airport to downtown. Longer if it is rush hour. The best bet…See More
