Welcome to YOUR Portland Neighborhood Community

Windy

Charity Fundraising Calendar is in the works and we want your help!

Hi PDX people! I want to let you in on a creative calendar project that will benefit Portland charities including p:ear, Girls, inc., and for adopting families for the holidays! The Calendar is in the style of "Calendar Girls" and is filled with local media and tech professionals who are stripping down in yet still a "G" rated manner to raise money for people right here in our own community. You can find more info at the website http://dosomethingforacause.com. We need sponsors to help with printing costs and retailers/shop owners who will sell our calendars come November. The Sponsors will get great advertisement on the pages of our calendar and links to our site! We also need volunteers to help get these sponsors with phone calls and foot work. Help make a difference and increase value in kids' lives. Please contact windy through the sites contact page or through here! Thanks for your help.

Many thanks! Very reassuring about the cost of housing--I'm a NYer and live in Boston so 450K won't go far in the places I know.
