This course is essential for any enthusiast of the outdoors. Shelter and firemaking are among two of the most important skills in a wilderness survival and primitive living situation. In this weekend overnight we cover each topic in great detail through expert advice and hands-on learning.
Students participate in building several forms of shelter, both for emergency and long-term purposes. They make two different primitive firemaking kits while also learning vital techniques to light a robust campfire in nearly every weather condition.
About the Instructors This course is taught by leaders and assisted by apprentices of our Rangers Guild. The Trackers Rangers Guild comprises a learning community focused on the arts of Trackers, Survival and The Curriculum of Shadows.
Tuition is $295. This is fee based course. Pre-registration is required.
