Event Description

Alberta Main Street presents Tannenbaum Madness

Tannenbaum Madness is a walking window tour of whimsical, wacky and artistic trees. Over 30 Alberta Street businesses are creating sights not to be missed! Opening Night is Friday, November 25th from 4-8PM. The street will be hopping with carolers, festive lights, gallery openings, and a little of the usual madness.

Only on Alberta Street will you find “Kringles Dingles” (Local Discoveries), “Pints Full of Holiday Love” (Salt & Straw) or “The 1% for the Planet Tree, it’s upcycled yo!” (Pie Footwear). A complete list of participating businesses, as well as where to find printed Tannenbaum Madness directories is available on the Alberta Main Street website: albertamainst.org.

Tannenbaum Madness is also an opportunity for you to get creative and help build “Alberta’s DIY Holiday Tree”. Art on Alberta and Alberta Main Street will provide the ornament making materials and guidance on opening night (11/25) at 1722 NE Alberta Street. Great for kids and adults!

In conjunction with Tannenbaum Madness comes the return of Shop Local Shop Late on Alberta Street.  Many retail locations on Alberta Street will be open until 8PM on Fridays in December for your convenience. Please support your local independent businesses during the holidays and every day.

Tannenbaum Madness will run Friday, November 25 through Sunday, January 1st, 2012.

Alberta Main Street advances efforts to develop Alberta Street as a vibrant, creative & sustainable commercial district serving residents and visitors to our community. Please consider walking, biking or taking public transportation to Alberta Street.
