Event Description

The Third Annual Mardi Gras Ball launches February 9th, 2013 at the Bossanova Ballroom in Portland, Oregon.

After the holidays and in the middle of winter, we all need a good party to look forward to. Traditionally, Mardi Gras is the Tuesday before Ash Wednesday and the beginning of Lent. It’s the last chance to indulge with fine food, music, costumes and dancing before the Lenten season. The most famous Mardi Gras in the United States occurs in New Orleans. However it is celebrated all over Louisiana and the Gulf Coast. Other countries in Europe, South America, and the tropics also celebrate Carnival season.

It can easily take 45-60 minutes in normal traffic to drive the few miles from the airport to downtown. Longer if it is rush hour. The best bet…See More
