Event Description

Join us for Katie Scherman + Artists, the third show of our 2017-2018 Dance Performance Season at BodyVox!

Katie Scherman, 2009 Princes Grace Award Winner and former BodyVox dancer, premieres her second evening length work, following the success of “Complicated Women” which premiered at Performance Works NW as part of her 2016 Alembic Artist Residency. “To Have It All” is an evening length performance featuring past works by Scherman and a new original work exploring the stories of women as they question and reflect on what ‘all’ is and why it is so important. Live music, film, and dancing will intertwine to translate the blossoming kaleidoscope of feelings which encapsulates the attainable yet impossible quest “To Have It All”.
