Event Description

SPRING FORWARD Saturday, March 11th, 10 am – 5 pm and Sunday, March 12th, 10 am – 4 pm for the 27th Annual Buckman Art Show & Sell. The event is held at Buckman Art Focus Elementary School, where over 140 artists and craftspersons, great food, dance and music performances come together all to support the rich arts program that is Buckman Elementary’s legacy.

The Buckman Art Show & Sell is truly a tradition in the Portland art scene. This 27 year old festival features art in almost every media created by both established veterans and newly emerging talents in the Northwest art world. A few of the offerings include: Ceramics, Sculpture, Textiles, Fashion Accessories, Jewelry, Photography, Prints, Wearable Art, Crafts, Paintings, Collage, Mosaics, Fabric & Paper Arts, Toys, and an entire gallery showcasing the artwork of talented Buckman students and young alumni!

Highlights of the Buckman Art Show & Sell :

The frolicsome artwork of illustrator Magan Marie Meyers adorns this year's poster.

Silent Auction on Saturday includes a wide array of donated artwork from show participants. 100%

of the proceeds go to Buckman's PTA in support of the continuation and development of their arts programs, Illustrating the generosity of the donors to the Buckman Arts Programs.

Community Art Project going on all weekend!

Sunday Student Performances in music and dance. Buckman Student Dance, Chorus and Marimba Ensembles will all showcase the school's robust performance art talents.

Food carts can help you get you snack on both days and taste how food is art!

Art Activity Room where you can drop the kids off and let them create while you shop!

Suggested donation of $2-5 per person. Kids under 4 are free!

Portland Planetary Dance at Kelley Point Park
