Event Description

Each informal Conversation explores a topic in biomedical science and its relationship with ethics, medicine, research and society, connecting people to the biomedical research community.

This event will feature Dr. Eran Klein, well-regarded neurologist and philosopher, who will guide us through a discussion about brain-computer interface (BCI) research.  BCI uses connection between our brains and computers, including but not limited to using the brain to control wheelchairs, computers and brain stimulators.  But who owns this data? Is it private? Is BCI safe?  We'll address all these questions during our Conversation.
