Come on down to THE BITE of Oregon at Waterfront Park today and visit BJ Smith, Executive Chef of my fave downtown restaurant The Original – at the 'Gerry Frank’s Oregon Chef’s Table' - he'll be preparing for you his Smoked Diver Scallop and Sweet Corn Succotash, and also Heirloom Tomato and Compressed Watermelon Salad! I'm coming to visit Portland August 7 - 12 with one of my best friends. We have tickets for Bite and plan on going on Sunday August 8. Since this will be our first time in Portland, it would be nice to find some local folks willing to spend some time with us, eat some yummy things and just enjoy the day together. If anyone else is thinking of going we would love to hear from you.

We're staying at the Oxford Suites at Jantzen Beach, so you can either contact me here or through my profile, send me an email or even leave me a message at the hotel. Either way, we would welcome the company & maybe even find some new friends in the process.

Easily located, just follow the sound of collective “omnomnomz” forming a nimbus around the cart. While you're gnawing on the first of two (or is that just me?), take a look around.…See More
