Event Description

See why Michael believes “Soutine is the only globally significant painting in the Museum’s collection.” Northwest artist Michael Brophy graduated from the Pacific Northwest College of Art, where he has also taught. He has shown extensively in the Northwest. Most recently he was included in the Tacoma Art Museum’s 9th Northwest Biennial. He is a recipient of multiple honors including a NEA Westaf Grant, a Pollock Krasner Grant, and an Individual Artist Fellowship from the Regional Arts & Culture Council.

 Talk is followed by a happy hour until 8 p.m.

 $5 members; $12 non-members. Space is limited to the first 40 ticket holders. Advance tickets available online and on site.
